Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
Perform performance testing and optimize systems for efficiency and growth.
Manage and enhance databases such as MongoDB and Oracle to support critical applications.
Keep up with emerging backend technologies and trends to improve the systems.
Analyze system performance and create reports on scalability, trends, and insights for stakeholders.
Work closely with other teams in an agile environment to deliver top-quality solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
1-3 years of backend development experience.
Expertise in Node.js and MongoDB for building robust, scalable systems.
Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs.
Proficiency with Git for version control and teamwork.
Fluency in Cantonese (written and spoken) is required.
Experience with Oracle or similar relational databases is an advantage.
Familiarity with Jira, CI/CD pipelines, or agile methodologies is a bonus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling technical challenges
